Dear friends ! Feel welcome to take part in an opening of Sylwia’s paitings’ exhibition UNI 4th Feb at 2 p.m. to the cafe “Życie jest fajne” at Grójecka 68 Street. Creative workshops around the book “Poetry and Art. for Creativity – Inspirations” will take place at the same time 🙂
Sylwia Zabor-Żakowska’s exhibition – UNI is the widest overview of her works. It allows getting to know the motifs which fascinate the painter the most, as well as with the oil technique with which the artist creates her works and in terms of which she experiments. Sylwia’s painting eludes interpretations; for it is inspired by and thus has a close relationship with folk and abstract art. Moreover, it interprets in a unique fashion the oeuvre of such artists as Paul Klee, Tadeusz Makowski, Pablo Picasso – to list just a few. Yet still what is of the biggest importance is the painter’s colourful personality that is present in each one of her works. Through incorporating dwarves, musical instruments, fogs, lakes and uncountable number of hues into them, she conveys the values which she believes in and tries to integrate into every field of her life: teaching, poetry and finally family life. Sylwia’s Zabor-Żakowska art is adressed to everybody without any exceptions on the ground of the fact that is strongly advocates perception of art which is not influenced by any prejudices – what really matters is contact with a piece of art and the best way for experiencing it is to be confronted with the colour, shape and conveyed content without any kind of border but one’s own imagination.
